WELCOME TO OUR CLINIC” KINNARIS IMAGING CENTRE “ AND APPRECIATE THE WONDER OF 3D/4D ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGY REVEALING THE STAGES OF YOUR BABY'S DEVELOPMENT AND PROVIDING A POSITIVE BONDING EXPERIENCE FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY.

We believe that seeing your baby in the womb should be an unforgettable experience - A time of bonding, captured by more than just static and lines. Your first baby pictures should create a lifetime memory. Will he or she have mommy's chin? Are those daddy's cheeks? These are questions that may now be answered by new 3D/4D ultrasound technology, available at our Imaging Centre

Our Imaging Center has been providing expectant mothers with the highest quality limited diagnostic 3D &4D baby sonograms.
Professionalism and safety are paramount of our Imaging Center as it is owned by  a Radiologist which  supports you and your commitment to a safe and healthy pregnancy. Our Clinical Imaging Centers provide you and your family with the opportunity to interact and share in this once-in-a life time experience through the eyes of ultrasound.
Our Clinical Imaging Centre will capture this memorable experience with baby images on a DVD, CD-ROM, and still pictures. The CD-ROM allows the expectant mother to make additional baby photos as well as email baby pictures to loved ones that aren’t close enough to share in the ultrasound experience.  Our ultrasound imaging, 3D fetal ultrasound imaging and 4D fetal ultrasound imaging provides a clear window into an unborn baby’s world in the womb and is a wonderful way to document your pregnancy
Advances in ultrasonography allow expectant parents and their families to see their baby smile, yawn, suck their fingers or toes, and even open and close their eyes during the 3D ultrasound or 4D live motion ultrasound. We have an unconditional belief, determination, and desire to maintain a quality presence on the basis of safety, customer service, consistency, and value that can be trusted.
Frequently Asked Questions abour 3D/4D Ultrasound:

What is a 3D/4D ultrasound?
3D ultrasounds use sound waves at a pitch much higher than what you or your baby can hear (think of a dog whistle). These sound waves echo back to the ultrasound machine. The 3D ultrasound machine sends these waves at different angles, analyzes the echoes and forms a 3D image. The 4D portion of the ultrasound is a movie clip of your baby in 3D, where the fourth dimension is time. You can see your baby in 3D moving over time, and this movie is saved as a short video clip.
Is getting an elective (non-diagnostic) ultrasound safe for my baby?
In 35 years of widespread almost universal use of ultrasounds, there has not been a single known case of a miscarriage or abnormality attributed to the use of ultrasounds. Its safety profile has been proven over the decades. Note: Women undergoing in vitro fertilization have to receive an obstetric ultrasound every week, and even in these cases, there has been no report of any harm or risk to the baby or mother.

When is the best time to get a 3D /4D ultrasound?
In our experience, the ideal time to get the best images on 3D ultrasound is between 20 and 26 weeks. .

How can I get good images of my baby on my 3D ultrasound?
On the day of the ultrasound have breakfast or lunch, then if you are not diabetic, drink something with sugar in it just before you come in for the ultrasound.  The bladder does not have to be full for the exam.

What is an elective prenatal Ultrasound?
We offer elective 2D, 3D & 4D prenatal Ultrasounds to provide a positive bonding experience for the mother, father and family members with the unborn baby. We feel that realistic surface images provide a connection between the parents and baby that can be beneficial to the whole family.

Is it safe? Are there any risks to me, or my baby?
Extensive studies over 30 years have found that Ultrasound has not been shown to cause any harm to mother or baby. Routine scanning of all pregnancies is now normal throughout the United States. In 3D/4D scanning exactly the same type and intensity of Ultrasound is used as with conventional 2D scanning. 3D and 4D Ultrasound both utilize sound waves to look inside the body. The technology is similar to radar. A probe placed on the body emits sound waves into the body, listens for the return echo and generates an image. 4D Ultrasound will be similar to a conventional scan in terms of exposure.

Do I need an appointment?
Yes, appointments are necessary for all of our services.

How long does the 4D Ultrasound take?
The 4D Ultrasound session will last between 35 to 50 minutes.

How far along should I be before I have a 4D Ultrasound?
Excellent  images of your baby can be obtained anytime after about 22 weeks of pregnancy. Many mothers obtain more than one 4D Ultrasound and have images to enjoy from their second and third trimesters.

Will I always get a beautiful picture of my baby?
Usually, but not always. Sometimes if the baby is persistently looking face down, i.e. towards your spine it may be difficult to see the baby's face. If this happens, a repeat scan in one hour will usually succeed because the baby has turned to a favorable position. We make no promises that the images will be similar to those you might have seen elsewhere or even from our clinic, or that we can always meet everyone's expectations. Every baby scans differently, depending on its gestational age, position, amount of fluid, and mother's condition. We promise to make every effort to obtain the best possible images of whatever parts of the baby that can be seen.

Can I bring my family and friends?
Yes. In fact, we encourage our clients to invite family and friends to attend the elective 4D Ultrasound session. This is a joyous and wonderful experience, one that can be shared with your family and loved ones. We can comfortably accommodate 2 to 5 people in our ultrasound viewing room. Our seating is specifically arranged so that everyone in your party will have an excellent view of our large screen 4D images of the baby.

What kind of Ultrasound equipment do you use to perform the 4D Ultrasounds?
We use the state of the art GE Voluson  E to complete all Ultrasound examinations. The GE Voluson E  has been seen in GE television commercials and many printed articles from around the world. This equipment allows you to see your baby in live motion video
